Just when I think the press can’t “dumb down” any further, here comes Andrea Mitchell
It amazes me that these talking point regurgitators (not worthy of the term journalist, which doesn’t mean much these days anyway) can’t see the the disconnect between blaming storms and droughts on global warming, but then, literally 5 minutes later, saying that climate is not related to severe winters or fewer hurricanes.
I think the media is so used to never being questioned, that they just expect everyone to swallow the contradictions without blinking. Their new motto being, “If you distort the truth enough times, it will become the real truth”. (And we’ll do our damnedest to make it so).
Either that, or she’s as stupid as she seems to be.
