If you read the entire article, you will find that the county is only ending gun shows on county land. Gun shows on private property are still legal and entirely possible, given the land owner is willing.
It’s not that great a loss to gun owners or to dealers. It may end up costing a bit more, but there will be no (less?) politics interfering with the operation, and maybe a little more freedom.
I suppose the Parks Department could decide to keep gun shows out of its own facilities, but how would it have the authority to ban gun shows on private proverty?
Maryland seems to have the DC disease badly. Will it spread to Virginny?
