Instead of creating Natural Gas Vehicles. A good plan would be to turn Natural gas into ethanol, and allow it to be used in fuel. Most cars in the US can run on 85% ethanol as they are flex fuel vehicles.
I think that would be cheaper and easier than building a whole bunch of cars to run off of NG directly.
