First one has to assume honest evaluation. Obama, the POTUS, can’t evaluate technology because he and his advisers are ignorant. A research study of withdrawn research reports said that 80% of the withdrawn articles were fraud – not bad science! When politicians engage in science, science becomes terrorism instead of knowledge. There is nothing worse than a stupid (not ignorant as an ignorant person knows what they don’t know) politician.
Couldn’t the smoke be produced by the burning off of lubricants and other chemicals used during the manufacture of the batteries. It is hard to imagine how such a thoroughly tested system could be unsafe. That is why explaining the two smoke conditions have yet to be explained.
