What part of “Weapons used by government officials and law enforcement will not be prohibited” did you not understand? Or did you even read it?
“Government officials” and “law enforcement” are two different things.
But to answer your question directly, “No.” The citizenry should be as well armed as the police. If you don’t like “gang bangers,” put them in prison. The problem isn’t guns, it’s gang bangers. What part of Feinstink’s bill will take guns out of the hands of gang bangers? What part of the bill will better enable the citizenry to resist gang bangers?
Shouldn’t police officers be better armed than gang bangers?
It’s interesting how the policies that “progressives” advocate, in the name of the people always, tend to stratify the people into the nomenklatura and the proles.
Guess which group we fall into.
Some are more equal than others.
