Brrr! China's Coldest Winter In Decades at New Low

So why doesn’t Bill McKibben tweet about this?

350.org chief Bill McKibben has spent the better part of the last week or so Twittering about record temps in various U.S. cities and states (see below), as if those records were some sort of sign of manmade global warming.

So far, though, nothing from McKibben on this report from the AP:

China is experiencing unusual chills this winter with its national average temperature hitting the lowest in 28 years, and snow and ice have closed highways, canceled flights, stranded tourists and knocked out power in several provinces.”

  1. 3 years ago the west coast had the coldest summer in decades. San Diego had the coldest August on record. The media ignored this and you had to read the temps on the weather charts. Then they had a one week heat wave with one day record high for LA. That made headlines for weeks.
Two years ago the southern hemisphere had record cold but again it was ignored by the media. This year Russia and eastern Europe are suffering from record cold, but maybe Bill McKibben can find a “record high “temp somewhere in the good old US to refute all of this, I’m sure the Russians would appreciate it.
