About the EPA’s proposed greenhouse gas emissions rule for power plants, Politifact concludes:
… Because it has no effect on anything occurring or planned, it cannot be burdensome…
The rationale here is that because no new coal fire power plants are being planned at the present, banning them in the future won’t cost anything.
If only we could cut those “enviros” off the grid first.
Perhaps the EPA envisions a future where home heating technology consists of siting around a campfire singing “Kumbayah”.
Personally, I consider living without microwave ovens, hot showers, or a working clothes laundry to be burdensome.
