Trumpeter Swans: Another Climate Change Winner

Good news for yet another bird species.

DailyClimate.org reports,

Hunted to near extinction in the 19th century, the trumpeter swan is taking advantage of warmer, longer summers to expand its range and numbers – one of the few good news stories of global warming, at least for now.

Last week, we reported that global warming would also be good for the albatross.

  1. Global warming is damaging the winter habitat of the snow birds in Florida. They do not need to migrate from Canada if it gets warm enough!
