‘Doctors’ call for fracking moratorium?

Note also the attempted shakedown of the fracking industry for research funding.

Bloomberg reports,

The U.S. should declare a moratorium on hydraulic fracturing for natural gas in populated areas until the health effects are better understood, doctors said at a conference on the drilling process.

Gas producers should set up a foundation to finance studies on fracking and independent research is also needed, said Jerome Paulson, a pediatrician at George Washington University School of Medicine in Washington…

But Paulson is a George Soros-funded activist — i.e., he received the Soros Advocacy Fellowship for Physicians from the Open Society Institute.

Bloomberg continues,

…“We’ve got to push the pause button, and maybe we’ve got to push the stop button,” said Adam Law, an endocrinologist at Weill Cornell Medical College in New York, in an interview at a conference in Arlington, Virginia that’s the first to examine criteria for studying the process.

But Law is an anti-fracking activist — i.e., he is on the board of Physicians, Scientists and Engineers for Healthy Energy.

Paulson and Law may be doctors, but Bloomberg forgot to report that they are anti-fracking activists.

E-mail Bloomberg reporter Alex Wayne and his editor Adriel Bettelheim that you can’t judge a doctor by his title.

  1. What flamming ‘health effects’…!!??!!
It happens underground well below the aquafer with technology that’s 50 years old. I’m telling you I get more and more irate as the days go by and these clowns are given credence for their anti-America and misanthropic activities and crusades. Oh for the good old days of pitchforks and torches.
