Light bulb ban repeal a ‘slap in the face’ to manufacturers

And they deserve worse.

About the imminent repeal of the incandescent light bulb ban, Environment and Energy Daily reports,

Blocking the standards effectively serves as a slap in the face to light bulb manufacturers, who have been working since 2007 to produce the new bulbs.

But General Electric, Philips and Sylvania — as well as giant retailers like Wal-Mart and Home Depot— deserve to be tarred-and-feathered for daring to force Americans into more expensive light bulbs for no good reason — a move which killed American jobs and poisoned Chinese workers.
