That’s what University of California-San Diego “historian” tells Scientific American in an interview, melodramatically titled, “Historian Hunts for Motives Behind Climate Change Doubt-Mongering: A Q&A with Naomi Oreskes.”
But as Fred Singer has pointed out before,
Oreskes and [Merchants of Doubt co-author] Conway claim to be academic historians, yet they have consistently ignored factual information, have not bothered to consult primary sources, have never interviewed any of the scientists they try to smear, and generally have operated in a completely unprofessional way.
