EPA chief says air regulation benefits like curing cancer

EPA chief Lisa Jackson will say anything — even under oath.

At today’s House Energy and Commerce hearing on EPA, Lisa Jackson made the astonishing assertion (under oath) that cleaning the air of particulate matter would save as many lives as curing cancer.

The American Cancer Society estimates that cancer will kill approximately 572,000 in 2011.

We’d like to see Ms. Jackson produce even one of the 572,000 air pollution fatalities.

  1. If we used the money the EPA spends to reduce taxes on small business, it might create 572,000 jobs. Eliminate the EPA!!
