Right… A few years ago Australia was in the final throes of a decade-long drought (at least the populated well-watered south and east was). This was, of course, blamed upon “global warming” and resulted in relatively low pollen counts (poorly watered plants tend not to flower so much, go figure). Naturally the rains returned, central and eastern Australia flooded and we are awash in flowering plants, with concomitant increase in pollen levels.
