On November 9, 2007 Senators Lieberman and Warner requested that EPA estimate the economic impacts of the S. 2191, the ‘Climate Security Act of 2007’ (now the ‘Lieberman-Warner Climate Security Act of 2008’).

Their conclusions ain’t pretty.
EPA estimates that LW may reduce GDP by $2.9 trillion in 2050 while reducing atmospheric CO2 by around 25 ppm by 2095.
What a bargain — reduce GDP by an estimated 6.9 percent for no meaningful change in atmospheric CO2!
