They must have a great deal of confidence in biofuel, right? Not really. Air Fleet Management (AFM) announced that KLM has launched a series of biofuel flights between Aruba and Bonaire (May 16). The flight is made on an A330-200, operating on one engine powered by a blend of 20% biofuel and jet fuel and the other engine operating on 100% jet fuel. And the distance? 86 miles. Not a high level of confidence, it seems.
