Coca-Cola launches ad campaign to defend the use of artificial sweeteners in Diet soda

The Daily Mail reports:

Coca-Cola has launched an advertisement campaign to defend the use of sweeteners in their diet soda.

The advertisement is the next phase of a campaign to push back at critics who blame Coca-Cola’s products for the U.S’s ever-rising obesity rates.

  1. Obesity is genetic. You don’t catch it from diet coke or regular coke. The obesity rate in the U.S. increases in proportion to the increase in people with a genetic propensity towards obesity. African Americans and hispanics are disproportionaly prone to obesity so as their percentage of the population increases so will the overall percentage of obese people in the U.S.
