  1. That’s why the Constitution was supposed to keep the federal government out of most business. Although the Constitution limits the feds far more than the states, the Founders were also big on restraint of state governments — for exactly the reason you state.

  2. Sorry, profit, but your attack on “Washington beltway Lobbyist” is unfounded. They are the expected reaction to government excess ruling and spending.

    E.g., if government couldn’t regulate agriculture, there would be no farmers’ lobby. As it is, they’d be insane not to lobby.
