… but not the Lorax.
From the Washington Examiner:
Captain Planet has been invited as one of the costumed guests at this year’s White House Easter Egg roll, according to a guest list for the event.
The 1990′s cartoon superhero was created by liberal media mogul Ted Turner and environmental activist Barbara Pyle to encourage kids to care about the earth…
Captain Planet gets a White House tour, but a high school class from Kansas can’t.
Actually, having Captain Planet in with Bugs Bunny might be a good thing. It gives far less weight to the message if the speaker is a cartoon character associated with another cartoon character. Save the planet for a fictitious character only works on very young kids. If these things really worked, adults would be living their lives based on a big, red dog. So put Captain Planet in with Bugs. It’s all fake. It’s where he belongs.
