  1. I’ve been whining here about this practice for a while. It’s about time someone else noticed.

  2. Our elected servants need to investigate this fraud, and it is nothing but pure fraud, sue the guilty organizations and their lawyers who file the suits. Disbar the lawyers and force the organizations to repay the money plus a high rate of interest.

    The writer, though, should check his sources. Br’er Rabbit went into the briar patch; he is a character from the Uncle Remus stories by Joel Chandler Harris. Peter Rabbit lost his buttons escaping from the farmer (I think MacGregor) in Beatrix Potter’s story. Gosh, we’ve got to get our facts right if we’re going to be taken seriously.

  4. It’s not just the EPA. This scam has been a favorite of liberal lawyers and their gov’t collaborators for at least 30 years, to subvert the democratic process, to enact “laws” without legislative approval, especially to spend public taxmoney without legislative approval. E.g.,
