… and contradicts her own rant.

Clinton said she took responsibility, but she argued that the exact trigger for the terrorist attack — be it a protest that boiled over, as the administration wrongly suggested at first, or “guys out for a walk one night” — no longer matters.
“What difference, at this point, does it make?” Clinton asked during a testy exchange with one Republican. “It is our job to figure out what happened and do everything we can to prevent it from ever happening again.”
Realty says that anybody anyplace can be blown away. Consider the fellow who was several floors deep in the bowls of the World Trade Center in 1993. He would have survived an atom bomb attack on the city if was not dead center on the World Trade center. Yet he was killed by a New Jersey truck bomb.
I believe the argument is that Al Qaeda is still strong despite the assassination of Bin Laden, so president Obama isn’t so great. But the Benghazi attack by itself doesn’t say much about that matter. Some people just want to kill people, like Mr. Lanza at Newtown or Mr. Atta on 9/11. To think that all attacks can be thwarted is tea party stupid.
But the point still remans, irregardless of the political angle, that Libya was in a declared war and our consulate was in a temporary location in the war zone with minimal security. Why should this be overlooked? Surely someone should actually TAKE responsibility for the lack of oversight, attention to a demonstrated need and for the safety of our diplomatic officials!! I would have imagined such a scenario would have been a priority for the Secretary given the volatile condtions in the region.
The FBI has working the Benghazi case, and there was an independent investigation. Pounding on Mrs. Clinton is tea party ignorance and out of place on this site. McCain should retire. He plays out the fact that he was almost last in his graduating class at Annapolis.
Give Hilliary a break. She is covering for Obama. Everyone with a brain knows that. She is taking the fall for Obama and the news media is too dumb to recognize it.
