I would be interested to know what conditions caused a measurement spike of 3 + degrees C (6 F) from their previous plateau of 42.3 / 42.5 which was slightly less than the 1790 previous highs of 42.8. Unique pressure system? Asphalt? It would be a given that there is no wind for wind power.
