Clean energy investment fell 11% in 2012

A cooling climate for junk energy.

  1. Newspeak: an 11% drop is a great success.

  2. A comment on the meaning of words. ‘Investment’ classically meant, with some degree of risk admittedly, I expect to get my money back and a bit more besides. In the green economy ‘Investment’ means, handing over a bundle and hoping like hell that one day the idea might work.
