    It was the tsunami that swept away 19,000 people including many innocent children. Nobody died because of the power plants. Hysteria was generated from the tendency to error grotesquely on the side of caution. The Japanese people are more intelligent than indicated by their being cowed by anti-nuke charlatans.

  2. Yeah, I didn’t figure it would take them long to figure out that a reliable electric supply was essential to the continued existence of their society. And for them, as resource constrained as they are, nuclear is the only viable solution.
