  1. Which part of California? The state has a huge area and tremendous variation in elevation. I’ve shivered in the suburbs of LA and I’ve even seen snowfall there. The San Gabriel Mountains, only about fifty miles away, have snow most of the winter.
    “Weather is as Uncle the Mighty wills it.”
