For those who aren’t happy with what EU regulators have to say…

“The EU’s food safety agency on Tuesday launched a public consultation on its draft scientific opinion regarding the safety of the artificial sweetener aspartame.” [AFP]

What is this, make a determination based on science and then get hounded by activists and well-meaning fools until you give in and give them what they want and confound the science? That’s what happenened with BPA.
