How can you be fired for not getting a vaccine that probably doesn’t work in the first place? [WLWT.com]
I got my flu shot in September and have been sick most of October and November.
Healthcare and junkscience – unlimited possibilites for removing choice on false moral grounds by corporations and governments alike. Are there any preening companies reserving the company parking lot for EVs to “save lives from particlates” yet?
The flu shot might or might not protect the company’s patients from the flue. It certainly does protect the company from lawyers.
Given their profession, mandatory immunizations are necessary. They chose to mandate the influenza shot and provided the means to do so. Unless there is some lawsuit or formal complaint filed by these people objecting to this requirement, they have no leg to stand on.
If influenza spread to a patient from an unimmunized employee, then they would be considered negligent. Sorry, but I have to disagree with you on this.
I’m inclined to agree with Ben. It’s reasonable to expect a health company to require basic immunizations and even more for it’s workers who are in contact with the public.
The arguments over the effectiveness of the immunizations belongs in another arena.
BenofHouston & Jim Sweet get my dittoes on this one.
“I never said a word against eminent men of science. What I complain of is a vague popular philosophy which supposes itself to be scientific when it is really nothing but a sort of new religion and an uncommonly nasty one.”
