WashPost: A presidential race low on energy

The Washington Post editorial page asserts, “Coal-related air pollution causes chronic illness and early death…”

But EPA administrator Lisa Jackson only testified last September before Congress that:

Particulate matter causes premature death. It doesn’t make you sick. It’s directly causal to dying sooner than you should.

And if particulate matter kills, then why does the EPA test particulate mater on human beings?

  1. Abundant coal-produced electrical energy *directly* causes improved health and prolonged life.
Careers in politics cause habitual prevarication.
    Journalism causes unrestrained hyperbole.
To prove me wrong, one need only provide a single example of a career politician who never prevaricates, a reporter or editor who never exaggerates, or a society with longer and healthier lives without electricity.
