Climate Commissioner Will Steffen sure is a fine cherrypicker:
Over the past decade, the Swedes have reduced their emissions of carbon dioxide by about 13 per cent, the best performance of any of the world’s wealthy countries.Really? In fact, since Steffen looked, the United Nations Climate Change Secretariat Summary of GHG Emissions shows that based on the latest emissions figures (2010), Sweden’s CO2 emissions have fallen just 2.3 per cent, and total greenhouse gases by 4 per cent.
