For someone who can say quite sensible things at times Tim has a major problem with weather superstition and a desire to “address” it. He just can’t seem to figure out that the cure is infinitely worse than the “disease”
Finally the New York Times gets with the program: they ran an Op/Ed today which explains what is the obvious and complete solution to climate change, a carbon tax. Of course I believe this, I even wrote an entire book insisting that this was, along with free market globalisation, exactly what we needed to do.
Here at JunkScience we realize elevating atmospheric carbon dioxide is the best thing humans have ever done for the biosphere, however accidentally. It is certainly something we should never deliberately constrain.
