When the weather is cold, we think it’s cool to make fun of global warmism. Invariably when we do so, global warmists get hot under the collar.
You fool! they thunder. Climate isn’t the same thing as weather! Of course we understand that. Cool down, it’s a joke.
It’s a joke designed to make a point–a point worth revisiting now that it’s hot out. And it is hot: As we write, Google informs us that the temperature in New York, outside our lovely air-conditioned apartment, is 88 degrees. Over the weekend we were in Tennessee, and at one point our rental-car thermometer informed us the outside temperature was 111, albeit on blacktop.

HAHAHA! Ex-girlfriend moved to eastern Tennessee last year saying it was to hot to live in Florida. Most of June was below 90. Yesterday it was about 92 in central Florida.
My dad taught me that if you can’t laugh at something, you are taking it far too seriously, so never be afraid to laught at yourself. The ‘warmists’ are as bad as the Socialists, the Progressives, the Liberals, and all political partisans on this point.
It’s been in the upper 90′s to low 100′s around Richmond. Much to hot to go sit on a boat and fish. Don’t recall it being too hot 30-40 years ago. Can’t think of any other reason than climate change.
I remember 100 degrees at midnight in Richmond in the mid-70s.

A decade is too short a period of time to establish a cooling trend, but every storm and every high temperature record is 100% caused by global warming.

It’s funny, or maybe “ironic” would be a beeter choice, because as soon as the AGW “believers” point out that the weather isn’t the climate, they immediately turn to the weather to justify their “belief”!!!
