Greenie Terrorism behind Italian nuclear executive shooting

From The Guardian: “Italian anarchists kneecap nuclear executive and threaten more shootings

[...] The letter takes aim at Adinolfi, calling him a “sorcerer of the atomic industry” and criticising him for claiming in an interview that none of the deaths during the Japanese earthquake and tsunami in 2011 were due to nuclear incidents.

“Adinolfi knows well that it is only a matter of time before a European Fukushima kills on our continent,” the letter stated.

“Science in centuries past promised us a golden age, but it is pushing us towards self destruction and slavery,” the group wrote, adding: “With our action we give back to you a small part of the suffering that you scientists are bringing to the world.” [...]

Compare that to a note from Aug 2006

Is the terrain being prepared for zealot eco-revolutionaries soon to remove most freedoms and a wide range of technological achievements, imposing us a future “eco-friendly” life of pain, illness, manual labour and struggle, with the belief that human ingenuity is an evil that will destroy the planet instead of improving our lives?

Interesting article. Europe has such a history of settling ideological disputes with overt violence that an attack by green-shirts only merits a brief mention.

  2. Well he still lives. Have to give credits for that. Shows much restraint on the Green Warriors for a Just Cause side.

  3. Its not a Just cause.. These terrorists are akin to the Nazi’s and fascists that led Europe into a devastating world war. Their is NO excuse for this behavior and one should severely question anyone who finds justification for this behavior.

  4. Restraint?! I think you would have a different opinion if you were the victim. And once the electricity goes out and people start really suffering, the greenies may become the victims. So be careful who you align yourself with.

Might I remind you of an old saying: ‘Violence is the last resort of an exhausted mind’ whilst in the “green agenda” case substituting “mind” with “cause” is more appropriate.

    • I see the sarcasm passed everyone by…..

Not to me, but I remember why I received a C on a satire that I wrote way back in high school English. The reason “It wasn’t wild enough. I couldn’t tell if you were being serious”

We’ve seen all sorts of actions, from calls for execution of oil executives to praise and even official governmental support for eco-terrorists (Hansen used his NASA credentials to get people off in the coal-shutdown debacle) .

To finish off, we are so dull to insane responses that sarcasm no longer works. I would doubt even A Modest Proposal if it were submitted on RealClimate, much less the wilder sites.

  6. As the Rio+20 Summit gets closer the eco-whacked out “leaders” of the U.N.’s Green campaign will call for more and louder actions by their NGO minions who have been supported by these Green Shirt enclaves!

Will they have metal detectors and pat-down searches at Rio+20?

These green-shirts are demonstrably far more dangerous than those ‘deniers’ emailing [nonexistent] death threats. China won’t commit to binding reductions in CO2 levels? Bang, down goes the delegate.

Remember, the green-shirts promised seven more hits.
