MOTORISTS suffering from “green fatigue” are losing interest in environmental ratings when shopping for a car, a survey shows.
They are also less interested in using alternative fuel.
The Newspoll survey of 3700 drivers across Australia, conducted for insurer AAMI, revealed that people considering purchasing a new vehicle cared less about a car’s environmental ratings than they did a year ago.
AAMI spokesman Reuben Aitchison said green fatigue appeared to have settled in across Australia’s driving population.
