 Meat consumption would need to be reduced by 50% per person in order to meet nitrous oxide reduction targets set out in an Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) draft report, according to a new study.

  2. This is ridiculous on many levels. For instance, I’d be a vegetarian, except that pound for pound, veggies are more expensive than steak. Getting enough protein from vegetables would be hugely expensive and inefficient. What’s more, vegetables don’t contain hardly contain critical proteins such as lysine. If complete nutrition from vegetable matter at low cost were available, nearly everyone would be a vegetarian and nobody would even have to preach about it. So, anyone proposing reducing meat consumption better come up with a realistic alternative.

  3. Not happening in this belly.

  4. In the Dental Hygene section at the Community College, they had a display of teeth from different animals including humans and they were classed as “herbivores, carnivores or omnivores”. Guess where human teeth were classed? Omnivores.

  5. Beef! It’s what’s for dinner!
