This is such nonsense!!! The food industry is glad to manufacture and sell whatever it is that consumers want to eat. It is the nanny state left that has helped to create this obesity “epidemic” with its anti dietary fat crusade. and food pyramids which encourage eating too many carbohydrates as a proportion of diet. If a MARS bar has too much sugar, don’t eat it. Enough said. A couple of slices of bread are just as many carbs as a Mars bar and has about the same effect on your body. Yet the nanny state left wants us all to go on a “plant based ” (which translates to high carbohydrate) diet. These are the same people who will tell you that there is a material difference between sugar and dehyrated cane juice. If we all went back to eating bacon and eggs for breakfast we would all lose weight (I did)
Usually one goes on a diet, loses weight, tires of the the diet, and gains back the weight with interest. Sometimes God is just plain mean. But my friend Tom went on the high fat diet, lost weight, and did not regain the weight. The data say this, but it still remarkable to see it work. I suspect the key to the scheme is the extra energy used in digestion. The fresh meat diet of lions leads to their extensive periods of rest.
I wish sdali above the best of health.
