Steven Goddard: Hansen Is The New Ehrlich

Hansen has dropped any pretense of science. He now spends his days tampering with temperature records and running around making completely insane forecasts of doom.

Hansen, who will next Tuesday be awarded the prestigious Edinburgh Medal for his contribution to science, will also in his acceptance speech call for a worldwide tax on all carbon emissions.

Hansen told the Guardian that the latest climate models had shown the planet was on the brink of an emergency. He said humanity faces repeated natural disasters from extreme weather events which would affect large areas of the planet.

“The situation we’re creating for young people and future generations is that we’re handing them a climate system which is potentially out of their control,” he said. “We’re in an emergency: you can see what’s on the horizon over the next few decades with the effects it will have on ecosystems, sea level and species extinction.”

  1. Silberstein, Jek

From his un-proven statements, Hansin is the “Zebra-mussel” of Scientists, imo. I fear he’ll ONLY return to reality, imo, in a Regime-change, as the bureaus are supportive of his “Lysenko-ism”, imo.

  2. How often does it need to be shown that extreme weather events are NOT caused by warming in the atmosphere? Or that sealevels are NOT going to swamp The Maldives, Tuvalu, (or Al Gore’s or Tim Flannery’s new houses)? Regime change is not the answer for Hansen; he is intellectually and morally bankrupt.
