Russia’s Gazprom And The Shale Gas Revolution

Gazprom is a central pillar of Putin’s power. But globally, the gas industry is changing, moving on to new technologies and new sources of natural gas. If Russia is unable to keep up, it will be left behind once again.

The continued existence of Russia as a transcontinental power depends on its ability to leverage vast energy wealth into political stability and power. Without energy wealth, Russia begins to disintegrate. A giant new gas field north of the Arctic Circle provides some hope for Russia’s future.

One Response to Russia’s Gazprom And The Shale Gas Revolution

Red China & India will suck-up all of the gas the Russians want to send them, plus Putin’s Greens in the EU will keep his profits high in the EU, as those same Greens have gelded their own Germans, –Merkel can’t detect their Treason, and those Greens are preparing to economically-amputate…both legs. In the meantime, Russia is “rattling its rockets” over the corrupt Syrian Regime, that if it falls through coupe or war, will still, probably before we leave, buy arms from Russia, and be its “buddy.” Although if war comes, Nobama & the “football” will NOT be found, imo, in a timely manner, so our response will be stilted and too late, significant damage will happen to Russia–maybe several cities will be lost, because the football doesn’t control the subs with missles. Is Syria “worth” a Nuclear war? Of course, it’s not “worth it to us”, and it’s un-likely it’s “worth it” to Russia, because Putin’s handlers will ask WHY it was necessary, and some of his handlers may have been permanently-retired by our response, so Putin’s answers had better be good. Red China is also supposed to “gang-up” on us, launch, and Occupy, but THEN can Russia “trust” Red China, after Our balance is gone, and Red China still has about 50 million males of ideal-war-serving age, with which to snap-up Siberia, then Russia?
