Hyperventilation: Greens unhappy about Heartland plans for K-12 climate program

“Internal documents acquired by ThinkProgress Green reveal that the Heartland Institute, a right-wing think tank funded by the Koch brothers, Microsoft, and other top corporations, is planning to develop a ‘global warming curriculum’ for elementary schoolchildren that presents climate science as ‘a major scientific controversy.'”

Heartland is a great group. Dave Wojick is a great guy. K-12 students would be lucky to have a curriculum designed by the pair.

  1. The Heartland Institute has got this one wrong. Same for everyone else. There is absolutely no good reason whatsoever to embroil elementary schoolchildren in a public controversy. A pox on all your houses.

  2. Bill Gates and Paul Allen of Microsoft, Inc., ARE now “deniers”???!!! Who writes this garbage? The Greenies need to proof-read their propaganda.
Billionaires Gates and Allen nominally support AGW and CAGW. They are Microsoft.

  3. “Wojick…is not a climate scientist. His doctorate is in epistomology.”

In other words, Wojick is a genuine expert in what is and is not knowable. Somehow I find that much more valuable than a “scientist” devoid of philosophical training flapping their arms telling me “the science is settled.”
