EPA teams with activist group in novel move to ban atrazine?

The EPA has taken the unusual (unprecedented?) step of seeking in a Federal Register notice public comment on a petition from Save the Frogs to ban the herbicide atrazine.

Atrazine is currently under review at EPA and it’s no secret that the agency is itself looking for a way to ban the valuable herbicide.

  1. If anyone was was harboring any hope that EPA might have some vestiges of value, this outrage should cure them.

  2. As long as their job will be to “protect”, EPA will bend over to the activists. Time to replace it with an Environment Management Agency.
